I have mixed emotions, but then I usually do on accipiters . I think I can tell
better in person (hawk) than from pictures. And I have my own theory on wing
beat difference.
Size in comparison to red-tail seems rather large , that much of a small
red-tail is going to be large for a sharpie. I don't think the tail is real
square but if it is a female, then this could cover both.
I agree with the head, but it is hard to tell if it is facing forward or maybe
cocked down, reducing the head projection.
Still, I vote sharpy. :)

I liked the shots, Tina. I took a closer look at the shot with the Red-tailed
Hawk and the "Cooper's" Hawk, which is looking a little more like a
Sharp-shined. It has the square tail and small head & shorter head projection
that I would associate with a sharpie. What do you all think?
