The City Dark -- Tonight!

Just wanted to remind you that The City Dark will
be shown tonight for free in the Farish Theater in the downtown Central Public
Library (140 E. Main, Lexington). There will be info tables set up by groups
involved with Bluegrass Earth who are interested in environmental
sustainability and concerned, like we are, about energy use and light
pollution. The movie will start at 6:30pm and there will be a question & answer
panel immediately after the showing with some excellent panelists!
If you can't make the showing, you can still take part and show your support by
participating in Earth Hour this Saturday and turning off your lights from
8:30pm to 9:30pm. We understand that this may be in the middle of a Cats game
(which who would miss for the world?) and if this is indeed the case, we
encourage you to find a central location to watch the game--the Kentucky
Theater, a restaurant/bar, or a friend's house--someplace where you can
consolidate your energy use!
