We held the Lexington CBC this past Saturday, Dec. 14th. 40 people
participated, and came up with a preliminary count of 75 species. Some of our
highlights included over 100 Turkeys, Bald Eagle, Red-shouldered and
Rough-legged Hawks, Wilson's Snipe, Screech-Owl, Eastern Phoebe, Horned Lark,
Red-breasted Nuthatch, 70 Golden-crowned Kinglets, Yellow-rumped and Palm
Warblers, Chipping - Savannah - Fox - Swamp Sparrows, Rusty Blackbird.
It was a cold rainy day and most of our area counts were down.
