We had a great turn out for our walk on Sunday out to Jacobson Park with 23
participants. I think the opportunity to see the Red-necked Grebe and the great
weather had something to do with it. We ended up with a three grebe day adding
the Horned and Pied-billed as well. All three were very cooperative and allowed
us all to make great comparisons. We unfortunately were not able to head out to
Reservoir 4 as planned, but will get another opportunity in Feburary.
Our next planned activity is the Christmas Bird Count on Dec 18. We are still
looking for additional participants. If you haven't already responded and are
