I dropped into UK's Spindletop Research Farm (off Newtown Pike in Fayette
County for those who don't know of it) with the fog still hanging over the
area. They are ploughing a few of the fields there and they were full of
Kildeer. I counted 140 but there were probably more in some of the other
fields I didn't get to. I did get one American Golden-Plover in amongst them.
The sparrows were pretty quiet hunkered down in the grasses and I didn't see
Bobolink like I had done the previous day. The full list is below.
