My vote is for #1 as well, preferably gray or some color to make kestrel pop
out

I prefer also the n1, the logo should be as big as possible (the others the
kestrel are too small) and I agree the letters are so stylized and thin will
be hard to read, will prefer to have " Audubon Society of Kentucky" in smaller
no stylized lettering somewhere on the hat.

Prefer 1. You need to spell out Audubon Society of Kentucky because the. ASK
is so stylized that some people won't understand. Don't care what color.

Hey everyone,
I'd love to attract some positive attention in the community. I'm thinking of
several ways to do this. One way may be to create a sharp looking new ASK logo
hat. I remember recently seeing someone in the Co-op with a lone soaring
California Condor on a faded green hat. I immediately stopped him and had a 10
minute conversation about the bird, the hat, and where/how he got it.
We've had some difficulty deciding on the layout/design for the hat, and I'd
love some of your input. Here are some of the "options" (in no particular
order):
These will be embroidered.
1. new Kestrel logo (alone) on the front, with "Audubon Society of Kentucky"
over the opening in the back.
2. new Kestrel logo (with "ASK") on front with nothing or "Est. 1910" over the
back.
3. larger Kestrel logo (with smaller "ASK") on front with nothing or "Est.
1910" over the back.
The cost will be in the $20/hat range.
Spencer Reinhard has worked on conceptualizing these ideas in the attached
hats. Please don't get too attached (or turned off) to the hat color in the
example. I was thinking more of a weathered spruce green.
Thoughts please.
