Great work, David. The updated ASK site looks great.
I was enjoying the somewhat warmer weather late this morning on my porch. I
began hearing a song repeatedly that I could not place. I figured it was a
warbler (narrowed my Sibley iPod app search), and it wasn't one of the ones I
knew (didn't narrow it too much more!). It seems it was a singing Nashville
Warbler.

If you haven't been to the web page in a while, I did a significant update to
it. I updated the Activities page with links to activities for other area
organizations and added a link to recent walks that will show the checklist of
the birds seen on that outing. Likewise on the Birding Hot Spots page added
links to hot spots identified by other clubs for the Frankfort and Louisville
area as well as KOS's state list. I added a page on Citizen Science with links
on getting more involved in projects that can use your sighting data. Changed
Raptor Rehab page to Injured Birds and added some new information. Lastly added
a Links page with links to all sorts of bird related content. I still have some
more work to do on this one.
Hope to see you tomorrow for our outing to Minor Clark Fish Hatchery and Cave
Run Lake. Katie Clark Has volunteered to lead the walk this Saturday down at
the Lexington Cemetery while I am off to the KOS spring weekend at Carter Caves.
Get out there to look for those spring migrants. I had a Rose-breasted
Grossbeak in my feeder yesterday and a Swainson's Thrush down at the pond this
morning.
