We are a complicated conduct setup. Code of Conduct issues are run through me
as 10% of my job description and in conjunction with a Student Attorney
General. I am part of a larger office that deals with general student support.
Our Academic Integrity cases run through an office under the provost,
threatening behavior runs through our AVP that is my boss, all sexual violence
behavior is done through our equity office that falls under our VP for HR. So
staffing is all over the place, but I handle all Code related issues as a stand

Subject: [big12conductdir] Re: Office Set Up
Oklahoma State responses.
-We are a stand-alone office.
-I have attached our office organization chart. I serve as the coordinator.
Three assistant coordinators report to me and one administrative assistant. We
are adding a new position this summer that will also report to me as well, the
position will be prevention education and case management. We also have
graduate and undergraduate interns (unpaid, 10 hours/week); these students
report to an assistant coordinator.
-For assistant coordinators I am looking for at least one year experience
adjudicating cases. This typically turns out to be previous residence life
staff or recent graduate students that held an internship or assistantship in
Student Conduct at another institution. Since we only pay $41,000 to $45,000 ,I
am not able to get folks with more experience. Also due to the pay, these
positions tend to have a 2-3 year turnover rate.
Hope this helps.
