Hi John, I disagree with this. I like to hear the time elapsed, but I would also like to hear the time remaining. This would be a good indication as to how long the book is. Percentages are no use to me, when it comes to books. So perhaps there should be an option in BC settings as to whether you want to know time in audio files, or percentage, as you can't please everyone <Smile>. As I remember it, it used to be that the BC told you what percentage of the file you'd read, as it does for text files. My suggestion is to either change what the BC says when you press and hold Play for an audible file -- that it read the per centage of the file you've read. I find it much more useful to hear "51%" as opposed to "3 hours 02". Perhaps this could be a usable- selectable reading choice. John
