Folks,
Sorry this took so long...
There is a new transfer tool and firmware available. Katie hasn't had a
chance to update the beta web page so just use the old link
www.bookcourier.com/bt to get the latest Transfer Tool, then update your BC
using "check for updates"...
The changes, fixes and updates are:
Transfer Tool:
1. Text files crashing TT fixed
2. The DAISY filter has been substantially updated to fix numerous problems
including page numbering and proper length calculations. There is also
better navigation marking.
3. The partial file dialog box is now shown only if there isn't enough
space to load a file.
4. The text filter has been "tuned up" for better sentence parsing and
proper page marking.
5. The Bookshare Filter has also been "tuned up" for better sentence
parsing as well as better navigation point placement.
Bookcourier Firmware:
1. The battery change "death" problem has been resolved.
2. The MP3/DAISY pause preview length has been increased so new reading
position is easier to determine.
3. Page announcements have been fixed to handle DAISY books that don't
start at page 1.
Katie will be updating the documentation and beta web page sometime next week.
There are still a few issues that I haven't had a chance to resolve but I
will be addressing them before general release.
Again, I'd like to apologize for the amount of time it's taken us to get
this update out. Between the Closing The Gap conference, a family vacation
and wrestling with RFB&D, I've been really slow at getting things done.
