Hello Katie and Steve and list,

Possible this problem is also a non-beta problem, but as i am only using
beta, i have to post it in the beta llist only.

I've a Daisy book with in the NCC.HTML
<meta name="dc:title" content="
followed by a rather long (approx. 150 chars) string.
The problems (WHICH DISAPPEAR IF THE STRING IS TRUNCATED) are:
1) when pressing the up/down button, only the word "navigation" is spoken,
not precedded by "phrase" or "level 1", although subsequent pressing
left/right has the correct effect (next/prev level 1 if up was pressed and
phrase for down)
2) when navigating to the last level 1, an error message is spoken
(something like "index ... error", i cannot clearly hear it) and the reading
position is not changed.

a case of buffer overflow?

i think especially in the "title" fields of a Daisy, there might be long
strings, as some books have very long "sub"-titles appended to the
"main"-title.

Chris.
