Dear Katie,
Do you have any other suggestions for fixing the error after removing the USB cable from the BookCourier? I tried the disk fix you outlined without any change in the error.

Hi Dennis,

Thanks for catching the problem with the King James Bible text. We'll put in a fix for it. Your other issue with the index file error is probably related to a corrupted file. To repair the problem you can use the check disk feature in Windows Explorer. In Explorer, find the external drive representing BC. Right click and select Properties. Select the Tools tab in the dialog box and then select the error checking option. Another dialog will allow you to automatically fix system errors and scan for/fix bad sectors. Select the option for fixing system errors. If Explorer finds any errors, it will create a hidden file called found.000 on the flash card. You'll need to delete this file when you're done. Please let us know if this fixes the error.

I have two things to report since installing the beta on my BookCourier.

First, there is a problem in the text of the downloadable King James Bible in Genesis 37:32. The verse ends with the phrase: and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son's coat or no.
The "no." is read as an abbreviation for "number". A simple fix for this is to put quotation marks around the statement as follows: and said, "This have we found ... son's coat or no."

Second, every time I disconnect the cable from my BC after using the transfer tool I now get the message: "Error accessing index file". However, my BC seems to be functioning normally as far as I can tell.
