Hi Katie, For my part, I love the BC-ready Bibles. I have already had dialogue with Steve regarding allowing countries to provide copyrighted Bibles in this fashion. If we could lock a Bible to a particular Book Courier's serial number, that would be great, as it means, unlike the BibleCourier, which is great for those who don't have a PC, we could have multiple Bibles on the BC. I also like the ability of the Book Courier to read chapter and verse numbers of the Bibles, by providing an alternate version of that Bible - something the BibleCourier currently can't do. MP3's, I have already said how I feel about transferring them being somewhat cumbersome, but apart from that, navigation is, as you say, improved, and seems to work well. Bypassing the title dialogue is only of limited use so far. Let me explain. We can bypass the title OK, but what we can't bypass in large audio/Daisy files etc, as far as I know, is that annoying dialogue that comes up asking if you want to put the entire file on, or a specified amount. Katie, may I humbly suggest that there is some option that we can set up somewhere that says "just go away and transfer it"? What I mean is, I want to be able to say to my BC, get as much as you can on the card of all the files I throw at you in a session. The fact that this dialogue comes up after the transfer of each file, rather defeats the object of bypassing one dialogue, only to be greeted with another. Off the top of my head, how's this for a suggestion? You set the radio buttons in that dialogue to where you want them, i.e. the entire file, or as much as you can get, or whatever setting people prefer out of the three options, then have a check box that says "don't ask me again". The down side to this idea is that there would probably then be no way of accessing that dialogue again, so perhaps a better way would be in options somewhere, to set it to your favourite preference. I want essentially, to be able to transfer several files, and just go away and leave it. Currently, I don't think you can do that. Or can you? I too, like the transfer user guided embedded, this is a good idea. Generally, the BC though, is performing well for me. Perhaps after this release, it is time to beef up the transfer tool? Hi everyone, The list has been pretty quiet for the past few days. I'd like to assume that means that no one is running into any problems. So far, the only issue we have besides the documentation changes is James' problem transferring certain text files. I was able to reproduce that bug here and Steve is working on it. Here is the list of changes. If you all could add notes about which items you've tested and what your findings are, I'd really appreciate it. - 4GB card support - Improved file navigation speed - Multiple navigation levels for MP3 files -- I think at least one person tested this and was happy. - Current reading position maintained after transfers - No end of file message for MP3 files when auto-advance is on - Embedded Transfer Tool User Guide - I believe this one also received a thumbs up - Deleting the last file in a folder works properly now - Go to page bug fixed - BRF button in the Transfer Tool - Ability to bypass the File Title dialog for multiple transfers - File title displaying in the PC file window - BookCourier-ready Bibles - Multi-CD transfer error fixed (for DAISY files) - Text filter enhancements - Generated file names - Slower transfer rates for 4GB cards Thanks again for your help.
