Yesterday morning I walked up the mountain across from the house---using a
gaswell road. There were several Blue Winged Warblers in the brushy areas along
the road. They didn't seem quite as shy as usual----and more redstarts up
there. I also heard but couldn't find Hooded Warblers---one singing on each
side of the hollow and at a distance I believe there was an ovenbird calling.
