Snow covered ground usually brings something interesting to our feeders and today was no exception. The first Tree Sparrow I've seen this winter showed up with the usual Song, White-throateds and Juncos. High numbers of Cardinals 20, Mourning Doves 22, Pine Siskins 100+ were joined by 1 male Purple Finch, 1 Hermit Thrush, and 1 Brown Thrasher. Hopefully, some other new arrivals will join the crowd tomorrow. Watch closely for those Tree Sparrows...Dave R/Breaks,VA
