I'm enjoying more grosbeaks as well... I had 4 males and 1 female on Saturday
and 5 males and 2 females on Sunday... Woo Hoo!
My nephew just turned 15 and seems to have picked up somewhat of an interest in
birds... He always has interesting comments when I show him a bird.
Below are just a few of his comments:
Rose-breasted Grosbeak - "...looks like he's been shot in the chest!"
Carolina Wren - "... looks like a hatchback."
Carolina Chickadee - "... looks like a Raider's football fan."
Hehehe!
