Buchanan Birders, This morning from my yard I could hear a Black-and-white and Hooded Warbler across the river, and an Ovenbird in the woods above Rt. 460. Singing in the yard were Chipping Sparrows, a Brown Thrasher, and numerous Goldfinch. Two male hummingbirds are fighting over the hummer feeder and I have not spotted the White-throated Sparrows today under the platform feeder. Most of the trees along the river are starting to green now.
