Yesterday a flock of 7 turkeys crossed the road in front of our house to get into the neighbor's pasture. Two gobblers were gobbling, spreading their tails and strutting in front of the hens, who seemed uninterested. There is one nearly white turkey in the group. Here is a bad photo I was able to get just before they disappeared. I hope to get a better one, but you get an idea of what the white one looks like. The tiny Sharp-shinned was back in the yard again today at his same perch, but stayed only a few minutes before climbing into the blue and heading northward toward the Mountain Top Golf Course. Maybe there's better hunting there. Roger Mayhorn Compton Mt
