Jane & I are hoping to make an extended trip out west this spring probably
starting in early May. We'll be going out through Kentucky, southern
Indiana and Illinois, across Missouri, Kansas, the northeast corner of
Colorado, through southern Wyoming, northern Utah, across northern Nevada,
out to the Pacific coast in California. We'll head north to Oregon and
Washington staying mostly near the coast. On the return trip, we hope to
cross northern Idaho into Montana back down to Wyoming and across Nebraska
through Iowa and on to home.
I would appreciate any tips readers on this list might have about good spots
to bird in those areas. We have no particular route in mind and no
particular time table. Any information would be gratefully received.
