Following up on Glen Eller's post of Black Scoters found by Pete Range on
South Holston Lake in Sullivan Co TN 11-08-2016, I decided to try my luck. I
searched by boat near Cliff Island and South Holston Dam and didn't located any
scoters in these locations. As I was about to dock the boat I located 6 Black
Scoters at 421 Boat Ramp, I can only assume these are the 6 scoters Pete saw,
but I could have missed the ones near the Dam. A complete list and pic is
attached
