Friends,
This morning Ella and I went up to Sykes to walk and had good looks at
what we think was an immature Dickcissal.
Then we came home and sat down to eat our breakfast and looking at our bird
feeders out our breakfast nook we saw a black bear who with no effort leaned a
bird feeder pole to the ground, opened up a canister feeder to scape out the
mixed seed and just made himself at home. He is a yearling we think. It was
at 8 A. M. We have had tracks before and damage so we have been taking our
trays,etc in at night so we had just had things back up a few minutes when he
came. Since I am a pastor, I asked him if he was looking for a church, but he
shook his head and went on..........
