Here is a quote from Daryl Owens about Saturday's birding.

The weather for Saturday is looking great so I wanted to give everyone
plenty of notice about our birding trip. Lynda Mayhorn says that the the
Rhododendron Restaurant in the park will be open at 7:00 a.m. which means
that no one should be birding on an empty stomach when we meet at 8:00 in
the parking lot adjacent to the Laurel Gift Shop. Hopefully, the day will be
Warbler-filled and maybe, we might just get a glimpse of the Peregrine
Falcons that have nested in the gorge previously. Also, if time permits, we
may try to check out the Raven's nest on Rte. 80 that's just a few minutes
from the Park entrance?
