Subject: [bcbirdclub] Russell County Bird Club Picnic
The Russell County Bird Club will have our annual picnic at Hidden Valley Lake
this Saturday, August 20th, 2016. We'll try to find a nice spot near the boat
landing parking lot. Plan to arrive around 2 PM. Make sure to bring a lawn
chair.
The club will be providing meats, cheeses, and bread for sub sandwiches but
please bring drinks, sides, and desserts.
Everyone is welcome, you don't need to be a club member to attend.
Remember that we'll be on VA DGIF property and that requires a use permit. If
you have a valid VA hunting, fishing, or trapping license or a valid VA boat
registration certificate, you're covered. Otherwise you'll need a daily or an
annual DGIF usage permit. These are available on-line at the DGIF web site
<http://www.dgif.virginia.gov/access-permit/> along with complete information
about acceptable permit alternatives. You can also purchase permits at any
licensing agency such as Walmart.
