We still have female Ruby throats here in Bristol. No white throats yet.

Subject: [bcbirdclub] Ruby-throats and White-throated Sparrows?
Is anyone still seeing hummingbirds besides Mark Mullins at Claytor Lake? I
haven't had one in a few days.
Also, people are seeing their first White-throated Sparrows in WV now. Has
anyone seen one here in VA yet? Please let me know when you see one. We have
had them here in the county as early as September 24th, but the more
frequent first sighting is around Oct 5th.
Here is a photo of one of the many that have come to my yard in past years.
