Hello Bird Watchers,
While traveling back to Ohio from Virginia this weekend Annie and I spotted a
white goose on a pond off of interstate 77 at exit 41 Peppers Ferry Rd
Wytheville, VA. We had stopped for gas and as we were getting back on the
interstate we glanced over and saw the pond with lots of ducks and geese.
Decided to turn around after seeing the white amongst the flock. Lots of Canada
Geese, Mallards, Hooded Merganser, a few domestic geese, and one Ross' Goose
Good Spring birding to you all, after this winters Snowy Owl, Great Grebe, and
waterfowl invasion we are jumping up and down with excitement to see what
spring will bring.
