With what looks to be a favorable forecast this weekend, I was thinking of
trying to organize a trip to Rankin Bottom in Cocke Co. Tennessee on Saturday.
This is near Morristown and this time of year is usually good for shorebirds.
Recent sittings include, American Golden Plover, Wilson's Phalarope, Red Knot,
Buff-breasted and Stilt Sandpiper. Let me know if you may be interested. We
will probably meet up in Bristol and caravan/carpool from there? I'll wait to
see what kind of response I receive before getting into detail.
