[bcbirdclub] Purple Finches

This past weekend I had a new yard bird that most of you in Buchanan County
see all the time - a purple finch. Two pairs showed up and it was very
exciting for me. I've only seen purple finches at Roger's house. I get
hundreds of house finches and thought I could be misidentifying purple
finches. After spending 15 minutes watching the purple finches feed there is
no doubt I can tell them apart now.
