Hi All, I was very surprised this afternoon to see this Pine Siskin on the thistle sock with the Goldfinches. It then flew to a tree where I took this photo. This species is usually in the far northern U.S. or in the western part of the U.S. this time of year. It makes you wonder if it might not have nested on some high mountain not too far away.
