For those of you who are interested in celestial events as I am, the August
Perseid meteor shower will take place tonight. The best viewing is usually from
midnight until dawn. I have seen some awesome displays in times past. If the
clouds move out and the moon does not interfere too much, it may be a good show.
Thanks to Peggy Herbert in Russell County, VA for alerting me to this event. It
had slipped up on me.
