I had only 18 species in the yard yesterday, but I was surprised to see that
one of them was a Brown Thrasher. I thought I had seen the last of them
until next spring.
I also had one lone Common Grackle that has been here for the last couple of
days. My goldfinches have increased from 4 to 11. I expect that number will
go up as we get into winter.
