Today was a much better weather day than predicted. I sincerely appreciate
Larry McDaniel and Ken Turner stepping in to keep the count after I had to
leave at 3:00 for the RCBC Banquet. The non raptor highlight for me today was a
great look at a perched Yellow-billed Cuckoo from above.
Hawk Watchers included: Larry McDaniel, Ron Harrington, Dr Malcolm Jones, Ray
Garrison, Victoria Hansen, Ken Turner, Jason & Tonya Moore and their children,
Andrew, Anna, Adrian, Adam, Alex, Abram (I hope I got all of those correct).
The Eagle Eye Award goes to Andrew who spotted the first Bald Eagle of the day.
