Richard Kretz, a lifetime member of Russell County Bird Club, has invited
members of Russell, Buchanan and Bristol Bird Clubs to his farm in Church Hill,
TN for a day of birding.
I will meet local birders at Lebanon Park and Ride (below Burger King). We
will depart at 6:30 am. Will be at Bristol Tinseltown parking lot for
departure at 7 am. I will post a spot in Kingsport after talking to a local
birder there.
Richard is expecting us about 8 am. Bring a picnic lunch and a chair so we can
eat in the edge of the woods. He has 93 acres of fields and woodlands.
Warblers are plentiful and many other birds to see.
This is a working farm with all kinds of animals and many wild ones.
We all have friends from various clubs and will have a great day. Hope to see
a bunch of you. Everyone is welcome.
