The children are home for the holidays and after a long night decided to
sleep in this morning. Not one to miss an opportunity I grabbed the camera and
headed out for the river. The lighting must have been magical to turn out this
shot of a male bufflehead. This has to be among one of the toughest birds I've
tried to photograph.
