Two special sitings here in Greene County:

First, drove down to Allen's Bridge - no Eagle, Osprey or Hawks,
then out of the blue to the wire heard, then spotted the Belted Kingfisher.
He stayed the entire time I took photos, but quite a distance and
sun still strong (3:30pm 57deg). Said it before, but the King was my 1st
bird in Greeneville (mistook for a woodpecker with that beak), that got me
hooked on birding.

If you haven't seen the new bridge they are building, or ventured
into Still Hollow Farms unique store, worth the visit. Jay/Ann
always happy to entertain with county stories (they are one of
the Quilt Trail Farms).

Driving around the neighborhood, what I call another God-incidence,
I drove along side the wire where a Kestrel was perched - and he stayed!!
Several shots from below, sitting in my car. Beautiful bird. By now 4:30pm.

Oh, 3 Red-winged blackbirds at my feeder about 8am.

Enjoy freely,

Nata Jackson
