I decided to head to the Joachim Bible Refuge today 04-14-2011 along with a few other select stops. Most of the species listed were at the bible refuge, with the main exception being the HENSLOW'S Sparrow which was at Rock Creek Park (See earlier post). Not a bad day of birding although I was hoping to pick up a few more warbler species. The bible refuge held more shore birds than listed. I counted in one flock about 35 to 40 shorebirds but was unable to ID them. (I need to study up). The species list is below.
