Yesterday evening about 3:30 pm we took a drive down 35
from Somerset to St Croix Falls to my daughters house.
Six Hawks were sited, the first 3 all together.
No less than 3 per day in Minnesota.
Encountered an odd occurence. As I stopped to photo a Hawk,
the traffic was busy and the yellow butterflies were getting caught up
in their windflow. There was a steady line of dead ones, plus a pair of
Monarchs.
