Visitors:
Drew Peyton, Ronnie Vicars, Gary Whitfield, Fred & Donna Osborne all came
to watch hawks and were invaluable.
Weather:
Weather began with mostly clear skies but by noon the clouds increased and
by the end of the day there was 80% cloud cover and some very dark areas.
Raptor Observations:
Though very small the largest group of Broad winged Hawks came by in the
last 15 minutes of the watch. In the last 30 minutes we also had a
Sharp-shinned Hawk, 3 Coopers Hawks, American Kestrel and an Unknown Buteo.
Non-raptor Observations:
Military jets practicing refueling (3 passes) and a float plane came by all
in one hour.
