Observation start time: 09:30:00
Observation end time: 17:00:00
Total observation time: 7.5 hours

Official Counter: Mike Sanders, Thomas O. Hunter

Observers: David Raines, Joel Keebler, Thomas O. Hunter

Visitors:
Stacy, she told me her last name and even spelled it for me but I forgot
it. I apologize.

Weather:
A little of everything that makes hawkwatching difficult, fog, rain,
drizzle, low clouds, bright blue sky, wind from the SE.
The fog did not clear until after 12:15. 2 rain showers moved through plus
2 over the valleys that missed us.

Raptor Observations:
Some flights during the 2.5 hours from 12 to 3 that were viable for hawk
flights. There were 2 interesting occurences. As I was watching a rain
shower barreling towards the tower from Moccasin a Broadwing appeared to
rise off the valley floor just in front of the rain. During the middle of
the rain David Raines spotted 2 Broadwings that were extremely high over
the tower. It was amazing that they were flying and he spotted them
