Visitors:
Jane Morton, Cole Morton and their Jack Russell Terrier Maggie Morton.
Weather:
Sunny during the early morning with some cloud cover building during the
day then clearing again in the late afternoon. Winds were light and
variable.
Raptor Observations:
Steady flow of Broad-winged Hawks from 10:30 through 12:30 then someone
flipped the switch and everything stopped. We had good cloud cover so they
should have been visible.
2 Immature Bald Eagles at approximately 2:45. They flew on either side of
the tower then got back together on down the ridge and kept going SW.
Non-raptor Observations:
10 Monarchs and 1 Red-headed Woodpecker. Also got a nice look at a
Blackpoll Warbler.
