Hunter Observers: Gary Cooper, Mike Sanders Weather: COLD!!! Temperatues in low to mid 40s, strong winds from NW and heavy overcast made for some tough hawkwatching. The temperature rose to mid 50s with sunshine during the afternoon. Still cold. Raptor Observations: Nice variety with 11 species. 8 Peregrine Falcons were the highlight. Non-raptor Observations: 175 DC Cormorants, 30 plus Canada Geese, 3 Red-headed Woodpeckers and over 250 Monarch Butterflies migrated past the tower. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Thomas O.
