This past Sunday evening Shirley & I drove up to Fishtrap Dam to try to find a
couple of Great Blue Heron nests that we'd found 3-4 years ago. Two weeks
before
we could see no activity where we'd seen the nests in previous years. But now
I'm
glad to report that both nests are occupied. I doubt that this would count as
a
rookery since as far as I can see there are just the two nests.
Our resident Yellow Warbler showed up this morning at the house.
