[bcbirdclub] Garter Snake, Frog and Goldfish

Recent warm weather has brought a couple of visitors to our yard pond. I
noticed this Garter Snake swimming across the pond. Soon it was poking its
head up from a rock, its forked tongue tasting the air for scent.
This Green Frog was sunning itself at the edge of the pond, but it was much
too large for the snake to tackle.
The snake decided that it would attempt to get one of the goldfish, even
though they were also much too large. Undeterred the snake crawled out to
the edge of the water to strike at the fish as they swam by. As expected it
didn't get one. It finally got discouraged and crawled away.
