Subject: Green Heron
I flushed a Green Heron in the tangles on our creekbank this morning. Of course
I wasn't carrying my camera at the time so I rushed home to get it. The heron
was not where I'd seen it but after a 45 minute search of the flooded creek
bottoms I was able to get these pics. Other new arrivals today included Eastern
Kingbird and Common Yellowthroat. Also, one of the Bluebird houses on our
property has 3 day old young in the nest.
