First off, they have been looking at the cliffs around the State Line Overlook and above the railroad tracks. They identified a pair of Peregrine Falcons and are now looking for a nest. They were out there earlier today and I believe they are still there. I also got a call this morning from a kayaker reporting a young bald eagle on the river in between The Towers and the Lodge. I spoke with him for twenty minutes and was able to find no reason that he would have confused a vulture or any other bird of prey with it. So if you are in the area be on the lookout for that as well. I cc'd Austin here as well so he will know the latest as well.
