[bcbirdclub] Eurasian Collared Dove

While driving by the Bonanza resturant in Lebanon today I noticed a large dove
fly up from the grassy field and land in a tree. I recognized the dove as an
Eurasian Collared Dove and stopped to make sure and it had all the trimmings
you expect from a Eurasian Collared Dove. It was a grayish color with a black
collar at the bottom of the nape, the tail was square with a white band perched
in the tree. Once it flew I could see the dark blackish primaries with the
gray wing coverts. It eventually flew into the cemetary across the road from
Bonanza.
