Subject: [bcbirdclub] Common Redpoll Here Another Day
The Common Redpoll remained with a flock of nervous goldfinches today. They
took to the air at the slightest movement, at one time flying away and staying
away for a half hour or so. When the flock was here the Redpoll fed exclusively
on the nyjer seed, and when not eating it sat in the top of the Birch tree over
the yard pond. I got lucky and took this photo when she was momentarily perched
in the small cherry tree just outside the window before she dropped down to the
feeder.
