I was driving up Prater on rt. 83 this morning and as I rounded the curve
just above Leemaster, I had a Great Blue Heron rise up out of the creek in
front of my truck and if I hadn't applied the brakes Mr Heron would have
been my new hood ornament. As it was, his wings brushed my windshield as he
went by....Wish I could have gotten a picture of him.
