[bcbirdclub] Christmas Eve. Fallout Waterbirds Sullivan Co and other areas

I decided to do a quick check this morning 12-24-2012 of area lakes etc. Upon
arrival at Musick's Campground I discovered a few nice rafts of water fowl. I
undoubtedly missed some, one nice raft took flight before I could work my way
to them, it had an estimated 150 birds, possibly Green-winged Teal and Scaup
mixed. I had other birds that were to far out to ID, including what appeared to
be 4 Scoter Sp. and what appeared to be a blue morph Snow Goose. I arrived
around 11:00 and birds were constantly taking flight so one has to wonder what
was on the water earlier this morning. Complete list below. Merry Christmas
