Due to the freezing rain and the near 100% chance of precipitation this
Saturday the Burkes Garden trip is postponed until the next day, Sunday. The
weather forecast for Sunday is clear with a high of 54°.
We will still meet at the Hardees in Tazewell on Sunday morning for
breakfast at 7:30 and plan to leave for the Garden at 8:00.
We will not be able to eat at Matties Place as previously planned since
both stores in the Garden are closed on Sunday. Everyone going should take a
lunch.
Sorry for the schedule change, but if we postpone until another Saturday the
Golden Eagles and Rough-legged Hawks that winter in the Garden may be on
their way back north to their nesting sites.
If anyone wants to meet us in the Garden later in the day we will have our

We should be in the Garden until at least 2:00 or 3:00 oclock
