The BCBC will meet this coming Monday at our regular meeting place, the
Buchanan County Public Library, at 6:00 p.m. in Grundy. Be sure to bring
your birding field guide. In addition to our discussion and announcements
we are going to play a game dealing with birds, and you may need your guide
for reference. Basically the game consists of each person reading clues from
a card that we provide. Each card will have 5 or 6 clues and the answer.
Others will be given the chance to try to guess the bird species from the
clue that has been given, or they can choose to pass. The goal is to try to
get as many species as you can from hearing the clues. If you are unsure you
may want to look up the bird you think is the answer in your field guide.
We will be eating our pre-meeting meal at Bellacinos in Grundy at 5:00.
